Artist Statement

It has alway been an interest and passion of mine to work in concert with other artists of different disciplines. I love the idea of working with the spatial dynamics of dancing, the sound and syncopation of music, and the vast world of the “word” and all of its’ variations of form and meaning. It’s like discovering a treasure trove of inspiration and imagery.

My creative process is simple. I proceed without pre-conception, but with an impulse for developing an image allowing it to evolve by drawing and redrawing a form, until it becomes real. There are times when I see no distinctions between what is real or unreal, as for me reality is elusive. This process goes on without plotting a beginning or securing an end.
